The first bike event in YDPSA history took place on Sunday March 5th, 2006. Nine riders took part in the City to Henley return bike ride, with over 20 meeting up for lunch at the beach.

Beginning at Elder Park in the City, the tour travelled on the scenic Linear Park Bike Track all the way to Henley Beach on a hot 34 degree day. Arriving at Henley, the riders met with the riders-to-be for a well earned lunch. After this, the tour made the return journey to the City, exhausted and wanting to do it again soon!

Fardaws Mohtar - Hired a bike with a questionable seat angle .. he may still be sore.
Feras Najjar - Also hired.. top effort for a infrequent rider

Hadi Slayman - Had to play catch up after tyres needed some air
Chris Basheer - Flat tyre on the way home (glad i had a spare:)

Ramsey Tabet - Joined the group on the way back from henley in some very flash lycra
